The city was very lively and we enjoyed the great location of the hotel. The hotel staff was friendly. We appreciated the two complimentary drinks at check-in and the pool access.

The room was disappointing as it did not have a private patio and personal fire pit as advertised. The lighting was poor and the wifi signal was weak, making it difficult to stream movies. The bathroom door was not ideal as the opaque glass allowed too much light inside and the fan was ineffective. The resort fee was not mentioned until checkout, which was an unpleasant surprise. The beds were uncomfortable, causing us to wake up with sore backs. Unfortunately, we only received room service once during our three-night stay. Additionally, we were not informed of construction and a power outage that affected our stay. Lastly, it was unexpected to have to leave the hotel for coffee in the morning as it was not available in the lobby.

This hotel boasts a stunning location right on the beach with mesmerizing views of the sea. The rooms are well-designed and offer great amenities, including a delicious breakfast with a variety of options. The leisure facilities are plenty, and we enjoyed the pool, spa and fitness center the most.

The parking charges were not reasonable.

The location of the hotel is great, especially if you like being near the water. The pool and hot tub area was a real highlight, and we enjoyed spending time there. The rooms themselves were nicely decorated and comfortable, with plenty of space to relax. We also appreciated the helpfulness of the cleaning and ground staff, who were always friendly and made our stay even more enjoyable.

One issue we had at the hotel was with the customer service. Some of the clerks were not particularly friendly or welcoming, which made the check-in process a bit frustrating. Additionally, there were some noise concerns - we were placed in a room that was above a party, and it was quite loud. There were no real solutions offered by the staff beyond telling us that the party would end at a specific time. Finally, we found that the resort fee and parking charge were a bit steep compared to similar hotels in the area.

We truly enjoyed our stay here and can't wait to go back Beautiful location not far from the Coaster Santa Fe train station. The entire experience was RELAXING. The pool onsite was nice.

Parking confusion/ Lack of customer service with our bags: When we got there I parked and brought our bags into the lobby, the hotel desk clerk gave us a confusing map that said our room was far from where I parked originally. Instead of delivering our bags I had to drag the bags all the way back to the car, load them and unload them again when I got close to the room. It would have been nice if they handled the bags for us.

The location was beautiful. We enjoyed the easy access to all of the area attractions.

The accomodations were a little tired. And the service from the hotel personnel, particularly the front desk left a little bit to be desired. We enjoyed our stay, but if the service was better it would have made it great rather than just okay.

Definitely, parking is weak side of my stay in Kona Kai. $15 per night for guests is expensive.

Its location was very nice.

I found your staff to be very business like and not very friendly. We found that to be true with everyone we came in contact with except a man working by the pool. Also we ask as we were checking out if you accepted AARP they said yes but could not redo the bill because we had to show it at check-in. During the complimentary breakfast we found the menu restrictive and when I ask for hashbrowns the waitress brought cooked potatoes. When I ask she said we do not have hash browns. She should have said that when I ordered.

The view from the room was great. The restruant was good. The staff was very frendly.

The rooms seemed old for the prices charged.The parking lot was hard to get out of it.

We enjoyed the marina view from our room. Our granddaughter loved seeing the boats. The ducks were a delight. Very easy to find. Definitely would stay there again.

I found the front office staff rude, unfriendly. The gate going in and out sometimes did not work, Placing your key in the slot was not an easy process.
